Dealing with people who Slander you

There will always be people who will try to ruin your reputation, make you look bad and have other people hate you.

Remember what the bible says: James 4:11
Do not speak against one another, brethren He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.
Proverbs 12:22
Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal faithfully are His delight.
Ephesians 4:31
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
Colossians 3:8
But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth.
Titus 2:3
Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,

The conversation interrupted..... Message given

  It was Saturday, February 3rd 2018 , I was at a local Barnes and Noble meeting up because I had a date that I had to ask questions. I was talking to my date while eating my french croissant, drinking my java chip Frappuchino and eating my triple chocolate cheesecake.  I had many questions without answers that I had needed answered. As I was talking to my date while talking about religion a lady to the left of us said: "If you want to have a relationship with God, read the bible".   My date I did not know was a devout atheist who respectfully said I don't agree with you.  I asked the woman "Where is God when you need him and during your toughest times in your life?" She answered "he is there you just have to call on him." She told me God has helped me many times and her son gave his testimony on how he had a bad car accident with his grandmother and felt that god was there. The Journey of joining ministry

This Sunday, I have decided to do ministry not because I wanted to but because I have decided to get out of my comfort zone. As friends were telling me to join ministry and seeing my friend getting accepted into PA school after she trusted god and did ministry. It feels desperate when all they can tell you is "have faith" and "trust God" and yet you feel empty/. So instead of complaining it is better to serve. This journey will be documented.
